Anthony Geary, famous for his portrayal of Luke Spencer in the series 'General Hospital', passed away at the age of 78 in the Netherlands due to complications following surgery. His husband, Claudio Gama, described the death as a shock for family and friends. Geary had a successful career in soap operas, debuting in 'The Young and the Restless' and having a constant presence in 'General Hospital' for nearly 40 years. Throughout his career, he won eight Emmy Awards for Best Lead Actor, setting a record. His co-star, Genie Francis, expressed her sadness on social media, reminiscing about the moments spent together and describing Geary as a unique and passionate artist.
