Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) announced that the checks carried out on Friday in Tulcea County, after drones were detected near Romanian territory, did not confirm the presence of drone fragments. Residents in the northern part of the county received two RO-Alert messages regarding the risk of falling objects from the airspace.

MApN conducted field investigations, concluding that there are no drone remains or associated elements. Following the detection of aerial targets in the Chilia Veche area, two F-16 and Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft were deployed to monitor the situation. The ministry maintains measures to monitor national airspace and collaborates with the institutions responsible for managing any emergency situations.
