The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, sent a message on the occasion of the International Day of Struggle Against Fascism and Antisemitism, reaffirming Romania's commitment to combating antisemitism, hatred, and discrimination. He emphasized the importance of this day to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past and commemorated the victims of violence generated by totalitarian regimes. Abrudean stressed that freedom and human dignity must be protected through education and civic engagement.
