Distrigaz has interrupted the gas supply for 3,600 consumers in Mioveni due to a gas leak, similar to the measure taken after the explosion in Rahova.

In the locality of Mioveni, Argeș County, there was a gas leak, causing Distrigaz Sud Rețele to interrupt the gas supply for over 3,600 consumers, affecting 176 apartment blocks. The incident was caused by a malfunction at the Colibași regulation-measurement station, which led to an accidental over-odorization of natural gas. The supply will be resumed only after customers contract an ANRE authorized company to remedy the defects in the usage installations.

This measure is similar to that applied in the case of the explosion in Rahova, where Distrigaz stopped the gas supply and recommended residents to carry out technical checks. In the case of the explosion in Rahova, it was found that the responsible company broke the seal placed by Distrigaz, which led to the incident.
