Alexandru Rogobete, the Minister of Health, said that the report on the Major Burns Center at Floreasca Hospital will be sent to the Public Prosecutor's Office, after a control of the Bucharest DSP revealed significant inconsistencies. The DSP was criticized for copying information from the technical memorandum without proper checks. Rogobete stressed that the center was not properly authorized and that he would check all burn centers in the country. The ward will also lose its status as a major burn center, becoming a severe burn unit. The case was aggravated by nosocomial infections experienced by patients.
