The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that a third group of Romanian pilgrims has left Israel and is now in Egypt, where they will be transported by special flight to Sofia. They were assisted by Romanian Embassies and a mobile consular team. The repatriation is part of the MFA's efforts to protect Romanian citizens in the context of the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East, and is also continuing for Romanians in Iran and Jordan.
