Metrorex has been notified that, starting from December 31, 2025, it will no longer be able to use the space in the CFR Palace, where its headquarters is located. This decision was made after the Minister of Transport, Ciprian Șerban, accused the employees on the 9th floor of receiving underground bonuses in an immoral manner. Although the general director of Metrorex explained that all employees, including those above ground, receive this bonus due to their connection with underground activities, the company will have to find a new location by the deadline.
