The memorial march dedicated to the victims of the 1989 Revolution will take place on December 21, starting at 5:00 PM, departing from Victory Square, passing through University Square, and concluding in Revolution Square. The event is organized by the Resistance, the 'December 21, 1989' Association, and the MEA Association, which demand the punishment of those responsible for the crimes of that period. The organizers emphasize that the Revolution file is a disgrace for Romania, stating that justice is non-existent without the condemnation of the guilty. 36 years after the events of 1989, they seek justice for the 1141 hero-martyrs who fought for freedom. The march will include a moment of silence in University Square and will conclude in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where the names of the fallen heroes will be spoken. Representatives of the organizations state that the impunity of criminals and corruption continue to affect the families of the victims.
