A fire with large smoke emissions broke out at the exit of the town of Lumina, towards Năvodari. The authorities issued a RO-ALERT message.

A fire broke out on Wednesday evening at a plastic materials collection center, located at the exit of the town of Lumina towards Năvodari, in the Peninsula area.

The 'Dobrogea' Emergency Situations Inspectorate mobilized four fire-fighting vehicles and a first aid team to combat the flames.

So far, there is no information about possible victims or the area affected by the fire.

According to ISU Constanța, the fire is spreading over an area of approximately 1000 square meters, and due to the dense smoke, a RO Alert message was issued to warn the population.

The firefighters continue their intervention to limit and extinguish the fire, and the authorities recommend following the instructions provided through the Ro-Alert message for the safety of citizens.
