Romania's accession to the OECD is seen as an opportunity to access advanced standards in combating corruption and to improve working methods.
The event brought together experts from 40 countries to discuss anti-corruption legislation. Romania recently received its 16th Formal Opinion in the accession process to the OECD, indicating that it meets the organization's standards in the field of statistics. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized that accession will enhance Romania's international reputation and improve market confidence. Romania has 9 additional milestones to complete the accession process.
