Marcel Ciolacu has told News.ro that he is seriously considering a candidacy for the presidency of the Buzău County Council, a post left vacant after the departure of Lucian Romascanu. Buzău PSD President Romeo Lungu confirmed the talks with Ciolacu, saying that the decision is still in the balance, depending on the election date and Ciolacu's desire to run. Lungu believes that Ciolacu's candidacy would be a plus for the organization, given his experience and the respect he enjoys in the county.
