At the first edition of the Maramureș Day, the President of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine sent a message of appreciation for the local traditions and support of the people of Maramureș.

The event dedicated to the Day of Maramureș, held in Moisei, was marked by the presence of the President of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, who appreciated local traditions and customs. He thanked the people of Maramures for their support to Ukraine, emphasizing the county's role in strengthening diplomatic relations between Romania and Ukraine. Senator Cristian Niculescu-Tâgârârlaș emphasized the importance of this event for the international promotion of Maramureș.
