A man was placed under judicial control after displaying legionary symbols in front of the National Museum of the Union in Alba Iulia, on the occasion of Romania's National Day. The Prosecutor's Office next to the Alba Iulia Court announced that the police took notice following images that appeared in the public space.
On December 1, 2025, the man displayed a flag featuring the image of Corneliu Zelea Codreanu and other symbols associated with the Legionary Movement, in front of a large audience. A search of his home in Mureș County led to the discovery of legionary propaganda materials, including flags and books. The man was detained for 24 hours, and subsequently became a defendant, being investigated under judicial control for 60 days.
