A 68-year-old man from Dolj County has been detained for 24 hours, suspected of having killed his wife on Christmas Day. The incident took place in the locality of Robănești, where the man requested the help of a nurse. Upon her arrival, the 66-year-old woman no longer showed vital signs, and the nurse alerted the police.
Upon examining the corpse, injuries were discovered on the head and body, indicating a possible physical assault. Investigations revealed that, following a spontaneous conflict, the man allegedly struck his wife with his fists and a blunt object, causing her death.
A forensic examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death. The man is accused of murder committed against a family member.
