A man from Bucharest was sentenced to one year and five months of suspended prison for threats and promoting fascist symbols on social media. The investigation was opened after the defendant used multiple accounts to post images of Adolf Hitler, the Iron Guard logo, and antisemitic messages. The acts were committed in 2025, when the man threatened a person with acts of violence and distributed xenophobic content.
Prosecutors identified 19 acts of promoting antisemitic doctrine, and the defendant admitted to the acts, reaching a plea agreement. The sentence also includes 60 days of community service, and the Dorohoi Court will decide on its validation.
