A 39-year-old man has been accused of promoting Nazi ideology on social media, having been placed under judicial control for 60 days.

A 39-year-old man from Bucharest has been detained and subsequently placed under judicial control, being accused of promoting Nazi ideology on social media. Between November 2024 and October 2025, he posted materials that glorified the cult of personality of Adolf Hitler and expressed hostility towards the Jewish population, visible to approximately 300 people. The charges include promoting the cult of individuals guilty of genocide, using fascist symbols, and inciting hatred and discrimination.

The man is prohibited from using social media platforms to publish or distribute content related to Nazi ideology. Investigations continue under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Tribunal and the General Directorate of Police of Bucharest.
