A detainee escaped during agricultural work in Tulcea

A 34-year-old inmate, incarcerated at the Tulcea Maximum Security Penitentiary, is being sought by authorities after escaping from a work site near the village of Cataloi. The man, convicted of domestic violence and under a semi-open regime, was performing agricultural work at the time he left the area without permission. Police and specialized units have launched search operations and are appealing to citizens to urgently notify authorities if they have information that could lead to his capture.
