A man was caught driving at 201 km/h on the A2 motorway, being under the influence of drugs. He was fined 4,050 lei and his license was suspended for four months.

The Romanian Police announced that a man was caught by traffic police on the A2 highway driving at a speed of 201 km/h, exceeding the legal limit by 71 km/h. Following this incident, he was fined 4,050 lei and his driving license was suspended for 120 days.

The man was also tested with the DrugTest device, which indicated the presence of a psychoactive substance in his body. He was taken to a medical unit for biological sample collection, and the toxicological analysis confirmed the presence of the substance. In this case, a criminal case was opened for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
