LPP, the retailer that includes brands such as Sinsay and Reserved, has suffered significant losses due to a fire at its warehouse in CTPark Bucharest West, valuing the damage at more than €70 million. The warehouse, crucial for deliveries to physical and online stores in Central and Southern Europe, became unusable, leading to delivery delays and short-term cost increases. The company has started relocating operations and will open a new warehouse in Romania to maintain logistical flows. All destroyed goods are insured and the long-term impact on strategic plans is considered limited.
