The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) has issued a warning regarding dangerous challenges circulating on TikTok, urging users, especially minors, to be cautious. These challenges include risky gestures, such as throwing objects out of windows or vandalizing parked cars. MAI emphasizes that participation in such activities can have severe legal consequences, including fines, criminal records, or imprisonment, depending on the severity of the act. Recently, a 16-year-old from Drobeta Turnu Severin was identified by police for vandalizing two cars, an action inspired by a challenge on TikTok. MAI reiterates the importance of personal safety in the face of the desire to gain views or online popularity.
