MAI officials have begun a technical and administrative assessment after a storm ripped the roof off a building at the Police Academy, flooding several rooms. The Europol union accused that the damage was not only the result of extreme weather, but also of shoddy work carried out by unskilled laborers. The MAI assured that it will make the results of the assessment public and stressed the importance of transparency. The union called for the resignation of those responsible and criminal investigations to address corruption and incompetence.
