On Monday morning, at 4:42, a magnitude 4 earthquake occurred in the Vrancea seismic zone, Buzău county, according to INCDFP. The quake took place at a depth of 125.3 km and was felt near the cities of Focșani, Buzău, Sfântu-Gheorghe, Brașov and Ploiești. In June, Romania recorded 11 earthquakes with magnitudes between 2.2 and 4. The biggest quakes this year were 4.4 on the Richter scale in February and May.
