In the wake of the railway tragedy in the province of Córdoba, Spain, in which 39 people lost their lives, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, expressed compassion for the victims and their families, emphasizing Romania's solidarity with the Spanish people in these difficult times. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has communicated that, so far, there is no information about Romanian citizens among the victims and that no consular requests have been received. The MFA is in contact with the Romanian Embassy in Madrid to obtain additional information and provide consular assistance if necessary.
