The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) has issued a warning for farmers and beneficiaries of payments managed by APIA, urging them to be extremely cautious regarding messages received on their phones or online.
These messages may aim to illegally obtain access data to users' personal accounts. MADR emphasizes that APIA never requests information such as usernames, passwords, or access codes via SMS. The ministry's statement mentions that false SMS messages containing suspicious links have been identified. Farmers are advised not to access links from unknown sources and to obtain information only from official APIA channels. In case of receiving such messages, it is recommended not to enter personal data and to contact the appropriate APIA center.
