Liviu Negoiță, former mayor of Sector 3 and current president of the Bucharest organization of the Humanist Social Liberal Party (PUSL), announced that he will run for the Capital City Hall. His decision was influenced by recent observations about the situation in Bucharest, which he describes as being "sandwiched by the political class."

Negoiță emphasized that the city is facing serious problems, such as traffic, pollution, and lack of adequate infrastructure, and invited Bucharest residents to provide him with examples of achievements in these areas. He believes that Bucharest is a "neglected" city and has decided to run in order to bring real changes, relying on his previous experience in local administration and in Parliament.
