The fire in the area of Căteasca is burning on two fronts, with active outbreaks and a high risk of spreading, complicating the intervention of firefighting crews. The flames spread over a large area, affecting visibility and endangering traffic on the A1 highway. Five fire engines and a command truck were mobilized to limit the spread of the fire to forests and industrial areas. The response is being hampered by the heatwave in the county, with temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius.
