The representative of ISU Vaslui, Ioan Cătălin, stated that initially, the authorities considered evacuating the residents, but after assessing the situation on site, it was decided that this measure is not necessary, as the individuals are not in danger. Members of the Volunteer Emergency Situations Service from the community are working to repair the water network, and a commission of specialists from the Prefecture will assess the damages in the coming days. Local authorities will request government funds to restore the affected road. The ISU representative emphasized that, at present, there are no risks for the residents.
