In Q2 2023, the number of job vacancies was 31,300, down 3,200 from the previous year, according to the NSI.

INS data show that in the second quarter of 2023, job vacancies fell to 31,300, 3,200 fewer than in the same period last year. The highest vacancy rates were in the energy (1.63%) and public administration (1.18%) sectors. Nearly 21.5% of the vacancies were in the budget sector, with 3,200 in administration and 2,600 in health. The lowest rates were seen in mining and quarrying (0.19%). Compared to Q1 2023, significant decreases were in public administration and professional activities, while health saw an increase in vacancies.
