Iran accused European countries on Monday of contributing to the creation of conditions that led to the American-Israeli attacks, thus triggering a conflict with the Islamic Republic. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, stated that Europe has supported the actions of the United States before the UN Security Council, thereby encouraging aggressions.
Baghaei emphasized that Iran is not interested in negotiations as long as it is under attack and called for a decisive response. He also commented on President Trump's suggestions regarding possible changes to Iran's borders, stating that such declarations are unacceptable to the Iranian people. Baghaei denied accusations that Iran had launched missiles towards Turkey or Azerbaijan, emphasizing that national defense is not hostility towards neighbors. The Iranian president assured Azerbaijan that no illegal actions had been undertaken against it.
