An officer from the IPJ Galați was found shot in the head in the service vehicle

An officer from the Criminal Investigation Service – Judicial Surveillance Office of the IPJ Galați was found shot in the head in the back seat of the service vehicle, in the Gârboavele area, Galați County. The officer had left the unit on Thursday evening, announcing that he would check on a house arrest. The management of the Criminal Investigation Service reported his absence, and the search began immediately.

The vehicle was located in the Gârboavele Forest, where the officer was found without vital signs. Before the incident, he had sent messages to his mother and wife, with whom he was separated. Preliminary checks suggest a conflict in the cohabitation relationship, and a criminal case for domestic violence was already opened. The SMURD crew was requested at the scene.
