The Minister of Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, stated that there were no discussions regarding information leaks in the CSAT meetings, in the context of the detention for treason of a former officer of the Intelligence and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova.

Moșteanu emphasized the influence of Russia in the region and the importance of cooperation with allies to maintain national security. The investigation, coordinated by DIICOT and supported by SRI and authorities from several countries, targets the activities of the suspect between 2024-2025.
