The police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old teenager, whose body was found in a field in Cicârlău, Maramureș.

The police officers from the Town Police of Tăuții-Măgherăuș have opened an investigation following the discovery of the body of a 15-year-old adolescent on an extravilan land in the locality of Cicârlău, Maramureș County, on June 1.

The authorities were notified about this situation, and research teams arrived at the scene under the supervision of the case prosecutor, considering that a possible crime of manslaughter is being investigated. The police confirmed that the adolescent showed no vital signs at the time of discovery, and following a visual examination, no signs of violence were identified on his body.

The corpse was transported to the Maramureș County Forensic Medicine Service for an autopsy, which will clarify the circumstances of the death. The investigation continues to determine the exact causes of death.
