At Mihail Kogălniceanu National College in Galați, a computer science teacher is under investigation after allegedly threatening a 9th-grade class with a knife, which she took out of her bag. The incident occurred at the end of November when the woman told the children that she would cut their fingers if they did not behave, demonstrating the sharpness of the blade by cutting a piece of paper.

The students' reactions varied, with some considering the gesture a joke, while others reported the incident to their parents. The parents notified the school management and the police, which led to an investigation by the County School Inspectorate and legal authorities. The teacher now has her employment contract suspended and stated that the knife is used for cutting fruit.
