Instructor from Câmpina, arrested for sexual assault on a minor

A 42-year-old man, a swimming instructor, has been placed in preventive detention by the Câmpina Court after being accused of sexual assault against a 12-year-old girl, of whom he was the coach.

The court's decision is not final. According to prosecutors, the incidents allegedly occurred over the past year, on two distinct occasions, when the man reportedly kissed her on the mouth and touched the minor's breasts.

The girl's mother filed a complaint with the police, which led to the initiation of the investigation. The court accepted the prosecutors' proposal for preventive detention for 30 days, emphasizing the seriousness of the charges made.
