The National Institute of Public Health announced 21 cases of infection with the West Nile virus, of which 20 were confirmed, during the period from June 2 to September 11. The most cases were recorded in Bucharest (8). Specialists recommend avoiding exposure to mosquitoes by wearing appropriate clothing and using repellents.
