According to an INSCOP poll, 70% of Romanians believe that the presidential elections are influenced by foreign actions. 60.9% believe Romania is heading in the wrong direction, but 89.7% support EU and NATO membership. 80.7% want more favorable economic conditions in the EU. 76.2% also support increased defense spending, while 77.1% believe that the withdrawal of NATO troops would affect national security.
