In February 2026, the number of active mandatory home insurance policies (PAD) increased by 2.97%, reaching approximately 2.39 million, compared to 2.32 million in the same month of the previous year, according to statistics from the Natural Disaster Insurance Pool (PAID). Compared to the previous month, the increase was 0.04%. At the end of February, 70.9% of active policies were concluded in urban areas, while 29.2% were in rural areas.
