The Prefect of the Capital, Andrei Nistor, convened a meeting on November 14 to clarify the situation of the streets in Sector 3 that were illegally built over Transgaz pipelines. He took notice after a report by Recorder, requesting the necessary documents from the Sector 3 City Hall, but did not receive a response within the established timeframe.

Mayor Robert Negoiță did not attend the meeting, which was criticized by the leader of PNL Sector 3, Andrei Baciu, who emphasized the seriousness of the situation, considering the risks to the safety of residents. In recent years, 11 roads have been built over gas pipelines without Transgaz's approval, and the company's engineers warn that traffic can cause cracks in the pipes, increasing the risk of explosion. The Sector 3 City Hall has ignored Transgaz's notifications, and the company has taken legal action against the local administration.
