On the occasion of the 151st anniversary of the founding of the PNL, the party's president, Ilie Bolojan, stated that the modernization of Romania cannot be achieved with only 15% of mandates in Parliament. Bolojan emphasized the importance of reorganizing the PNL to open the party to valuable people who want an efficient state and fair institutions. He mentioned that, in order to decisively influence events in the country, the PNL must strengthen its position and not depend on unreliable partners. Bolojan encouraged the promotion of performance and the rewarding of people who contribute to their communities, believing that this way the PNL will gain the trust of Romanians. The liberal leader concluded by sending a message of unity and determination for the future of the party and Romania.
