Former minister Ilan Laufer was fined 2,430 lei following a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday morning, when he crossed a pedestrian crossing on an electric scooter, having two children with him.
According to the Traffic Police Brigade, Laufer violated three traffic rules: he rode a scooter on the sidewalk, transported two minors on the same vehicle, and crossed without getting off the scooter, colliding with a vehicle.
The accident occurred on Mircea Vulcănescu Street, and the police confirmed that only material damages resulted. Laufer stated that he was taking the children to kindergarten and explained the circumstances of the accident, mentioning that he was injured on the head, but the children are fine.
