Drone alert in Iași

A drone alert was issued on Tuesday afternoon for the Iași area. The RO-Alert message estimates that the danger will have passed in approximately 90 minutes. The alert was also issued for residents of Neamț and Vaslui.

"Extreme alert. There is a possibility of objects falling from the airspace. Remain calm! Take shelter in basements or civil protection shelters. In the absence of a shelter, remain inside the house, away from windows and exterior walls," the message states.

"It is a drone that is currently coming from the Republic of Moldova. Its direction is somewhere toward the south of Iași County or the north of Vaslui County. The situation is being monitored," Iași Prefect Costel Dolachi told News.ro.
