Inquam Photos, a photo press agency, made a public appeal to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, asking him to allow photographers access at the beginning of government meetings and to return to normalcy regarding events at the Victoria Palace. This request comes after several previous requests sent through the official communication channels with the press of the Government. Inquam Photos emphasizes that the Government's efforts to stabilize the economy should not compromise transparency. The agency states that images provided by photographers employed by the government cannot replace the work of photojournalists, and limiting press access is a characteristic of illiberal regimes.
