From Saturday to Sunday, the counties of Mehedinți, Gorj, Vâlcea, Dolj, Olt and Teleorman are facing a code orange heatwave, with temperatures between 37 and 40 degrees.

Between Saturday at 10am and Sunday at 10am, the counties of Mehedinți, Gorj, Vâlcea, Dolj, Olt and Teleorman will be affected by the heatwave, with maximum temperatures of 37-40 degrees and minimums of over 20 degrees. Other areas, such as Muntenia and Transylvania, are under a code yellow warning. On Sunday, Mehedinți, Dolj and Olt will have code red with temperatures of 39-41 degrees. Atmospheric instability will affect the Southern Carpathians, with showers and strong winds. On Monday, the heatwave will persist in most of the country.
