Starting October 1, public hospital managers will be required to periodically publish clear information about the activities of the units, including quality indicators and financial data. This information will include the rate of healthcare-associated infections, patient satisfaction levels, and the hospital's revenues. The measure, established by an order from the Minister of Health, aims to increase transparency and accountability in hospital management, highlighting the importance of objective evaluation of the performance of managers and department heads.
