HiSky airline will have direct flights Bucharest – Chicago, starting June 2026

Two years after the first direct flight to New York, an aircraft from the HiSky airline will take off to another destination on the North American continent. Chicago is the second city in the USA to which the company is relaunching direct flights.

The departure from Bucharest to Chicago is scheduled for 09:00, and the flight schedule of HiSky from Chișinău, Timișoara, Cluj, Oradea, and Tel Aviv has been adjusted so that passengers departing from these airports can benefit from a quick transfer, with luggage pickup, directly to the final destination. The flight duration from Bucharest to Chicago is 10 hours and 50 minutes, while the return flight takes 9 hours and 50 minutes.

Thus, the total travel time for passengers departing from Chișinău or from major cities in Romania does not exceed 13 hours, including the connection through Bucharest.
