Bogdan Nicolae Badea, the CEO of Hidroelectrica, announced that the company will implement storage installations at all run-of-river power plants to manage the surplus energy. He emphasized that the current compensation system does not solve the issue of energy prices, proposing investments in diversification and renewable sources. He also mentioned that there are time intervals with very low prices and others with exaggerated prices, and the solution is energy storage to be used in the evening.
