The largest energy producer in Romania, Hidroelectrica, is carrying out a digitization project between January 1 and January 20, 2026, aimed at improving the quality of services offered to customers. The project includes the implementation of a new IT system and the migration of databases, which will allow for more efficient management of customer relationships and faster and more secure billing processes.

During this period, certain activities will be temporarily interrupted, including the issuance and correction of invoices, reconciliation of balances, and allocation of payments. Additionally, payments made through channels other than the iHidro application will be reflected in customer balances after the migration is completed. Hidroelectrica assures customers that these investments are made for their benefit and that a normal public relations program will be maintained.
