Hidroelectrica has completed the modernization of the iHidro application, optimizing online payments with a card, four days earlier than the estimated deadline.

On October 28, 2025, Hidroelectrica successfully completed the modernization of the IT systems related to the iHidro application, four days ahead of the estimated deadline. The works aimed to optimize the digital infrastructure for managing online card payments, thus improving the user experience. The president of Hidroelectrica's management board, Bogdan Badea, emphasized the importance of this achievement, highlighting the professionalism of the team and the company's commitment to providing quality services.

With the resumption of payment functionality, users will benefit from a faster and more secure system. Hidroelectrica, the largest producer of renewable energy in Romania, continues to invest in the development of digital platforms to simplify interaction with customers, currently having over 900,000 clients.
