The Bucharest Airports National Company has completed modernization works at Henri Coandă Airport, including a new taxiway (Charlie 1) and five parking positions for airplanes. The project, which covers an area of 49,405 sqm, aims to optimize aircraft operating conditions. The works included the modernization of the boarding-deplaning apron, road structures and beaconing systems with LED technology, helping to reduce energy consumption.
