A major fire has damaged five homes and seven outbuildings in Brăila. An 81-year-old man suffered second-degree burns.

The fire broke out on Astrului Street in Braila due to a fire left unattended in the yard of a house. Five water and foam vehicles intervened to extinguish the flames and one person suffered second-degree burns to the upper limbs. Around 400 square meters of houses and 280 square meters of outbuildings were affected by the fire.
